Residency Programs Chesterfield | Fairfax | Riverside | Shenandoah |St. Francis St. Francis Family Medicine Residency The Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) affiliated St. Francis Family Medicine Residency Program will open its doors for the July 2005 academic year to train family physicians in the art and science of family medicine. The program is sponsored by the Bon Secours Richmond Health System, with core rotations at St. Francis Medical Center, a brand new state of the art hospital. A growing medical practice will be combined with an established residency program to create a new family medicine residency, offering a mixture of rural and suburban based family medicine. The program has received full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
