Government Relations Staff

The Governmental Relations staff is responsible for activities associated with local, state, and federal government relations. Staff facilitate the on-going development and implementation of legislative strategies associated with the University's priorities. The staff provide support for many departments at VCU by monitoring government policies and proposals to determine their impact on academic programs, budget or other University functions.

The Office serves as a liaison between the Governor's Office, the General Assembly, agencies of the Commonwealth, Richmond City Council, and local boards of supervisors.
